BULLETS HIRES MPONDA AS HEAD COACH.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has signed its former captain and assistant coach Peter Mponda who has resigned from Silver Strikers as head coach.


Mponda takes over a three year contract from Casto Pasuwa who has been linked with reports that he may be joining the Malawi National team (The Flames).


Chief Executive officer for the People's team Albert Chigoga has confirmed of unveileiling their man back on the People's board today.



Peter Mponda became controvert when he resigned from the bankers soon after he earned the 2024 TNM Superleague championship and consequently signed an extended three year contract with the capital city giants.


Before going to Silver Strikers Mponda had been coaching some team abroad.


Silver Strikers executives were quoted in the country's dailies warning that any local club reported to have roped in Mponda will bare the repayment of a contract close of K26 million.


It is not yet known whether Bullets or Mponda has paid back the said amount to Reserve Bank.
